Wondering if Skydroid uses gps in the phone that comes out of the data usage on your contract.

I don't want to buy it and then find out it eats all my data usage and then cost me a bomb!

I think most phones use assisted GPS which uses your phones data network to help lock to the satellites. I'd check with your network provider if I were you

Assisted gps is tiny amount of data and only to get a lock faster at startup. After that it should use normal gps and hence not be using any data at all.

So if you have a data plan then I doubt you will see anything changing.
