Whilst playing yesterday, I noticed the SI on two of the holes were different on the scorecard from that on my SkyCaddie. I queried this with my partner who was a member and he advised me that they had been changed some time back. I emailed SkyCaddie last night to advise them of the discrepancy and had a reply this evening to say they have now corrected their details.
Great service. :)

Anything like Si & par changes along with the removal of any hazards/features we can just go into our system there and then and make the amendments, all you have to do is then sync your device 👍🏌

I've got around 30+ courses just in my immediate area to walk & map due to additional hazards and changes that have been made over the winter programme period, these will be uploaded on all SkyCaddie devices only for the start of the season 👍🏌

Looking forward to testing out a SkyCaddie. Should get one delivered today, as I took the plunge and ordered a refurbished SGXw. Hopefully I can get it all set up and sync'd with the courses ready for my holiday tomorrow

Just done the same thing yesterday 👍

Just done the same thing yesterday 👍

Got mine today, and setting it up as we speak. Can't get CaddySync working on my mac...constantly asking for the admin password, even though it is installed. I know the device is wireless, but do sometimes prefer to use actual software on a machine.

Enjoy using the optical trackpad on the SGXw...it's a bit difficult to get used to. Found out the easiest way to use it was not use the pad of your thumb, but rather the first joint below the pad. Works a bit better

Ha ha, Mrs just bought in from work, charging now. Only ordered it Sunday night,

Unfortunately I've had nothing but problems with mine.......I've had 3 replacements now ( all at £90 using their "Back in Play" service)

Each time, it has broken again quite soon afterwards.
1st time, I can't even remember what happened. 2nd time someone knocked it with an iron and the screen cracked.
3rd time it got a bit wet during a downpour and stopped working!!
Not SkyCaddies fault, but I'm reluctant to shell out another £90.... It's costing me a fortune!!
I've got a Garmin G3 and also a TOM TOM watch so don't really need it, but the features on my SGX are better than the others and I miss it.

Bit of a dilemma especially as I recently took advantage of the 3 year package which included 3 dozen Bridgestone e6 balls which I love!

You need to allow skycaddie to talk to your mac, it's in preferences, settings, security,
I had the same issue and there online chat sorted it

Just tried the online chat, and after 30 mins, still no luck :(

He seems to have disappeared after rebooting the machine...

Was the one were you allow screen share? That's what they did with me, it's the allow incoming connection/access thingy in security you need to grant access to skycaddie, no issues with mine once they sorted it😃

SkyCaddie is a great piece of kit but how on earth they can justify a *subscription for their course maps baffles me - considering that with so many other units this comes as a free service.

*Haven't checked lately but last time I did it was around £30 a year. If this is no longer the case then I apologise for my error.

Apparently you pay for any course changes which allegedly get done quicker than other brands. Oh and hazards etc...

They did the screenshare, but didn't go anywhere near settings. Just tried to keep installing versions of caddiesync. Slightly annoying, as I have paid for my subscription, but I don't think it has sync'd to my skycaddie as it won't connect to mac

The software is rubbish. I avoided connecting my sg2.5 for as long as possible as it always took ages to update software etc.

i really liked the unit but when I went to renew and realised that I had already paid £180 in fees I decided enough was enough. I decided to buy a Nikon laser device for ~£130 with very accurate distances to pins. Only miss my Skycaddie on one hole at my club where there are bunkers on a par 5 that you can't see and laser from the fairway.

So, finally managed to get caddiesync working on my Work PC, but I need it working on my mac. Guess I will try again tomorrow with Tech support. The main thing I was worried about was ensuring my membership was activated, and according to the online portal, it is registered with my Eagle membership. I have downloaded my holiday courses, so looking forward to using it. Shame the weather looks poor tomorrow, otherwise I would take it out for a hit in the morning and see how she performs

Had one for a long time and very useful in telling you distances to hazards and trouble etc. I also use a Bushnell for pin point accuracy to the flag.

I currently use the SkyCaddy Touch, brilliant piece of kit.

Hope it gets sorted mate, sync as soon as I connect it to my mac, no issues so far, great bit of kit.
