Skycaddie Mobile - Anybody used it? Any good?

Just looking for some info before jumping in

I looked at dedicated GPS devices, but then saw this in the App Store.

Does anyone use it, and is it as good as having a standard GPS device?

Also, I will be using it on a iPhone 7-plus, and wondered if there are battery life concerns

I've got a Nikon Rangefinder so don't have the need to buy a GPS package, but I do have the motocaddy app on my phone and use it a lot on new courses. It's extremely accurate, and free.
