Does any one know if this is available if you have an existing 1 year membership?

Email does say it's for a new online purchase of the LINX Pro Plan. I only had the free plan. Perhaps check into your Skycaddie account and see if it's there for you.
Not sure it applies in this case but if you renew early with Skycaddie, the start date will be when your current subscription expires. In effect, you can buy early, but I'd check in this instance.

Just checked and they let me upgrade my existing membership to the 3 years for £60, good deal in my view
