Sky TV sound

I've had sky tv in since buying the house and have always noticed that once in a while the sound goes off for a second or so. I've had the dish checked by a local installation guy and he said that there is o interference from the direction of the dish.

My dad had sky for many many years up until I moved out 6 years ago and he used to get the same problem and never got it sorted.

Does anybody else experience this and more importantly, has anybody had the problem cured

Once in a while, our sound just completely goes off. To remedy this, I unplug and plug the skybox back in to reset it and everything's fine.

If you're using scart cables, check they're not loose

Had sky for 3-4 years. Never had sound issues. I've always used HDMI though

Check your hearing-aid.

My wife had a special circuit installed which cuts out the sound whenever she wishes to speak ...
