Sky subscriptions going up again!

Destruction off pub trade

That has nothing to do with Sky

And English football hasn't been "destroyed" it's just changed.

Sky can be purchased for a reasonable price and still be able to buy a pint and play golf

Not directly, but for a boozer to get sky sports is crazy money, you need to shift a lot of pints to pay for it. for us, we looked at it, and it was over 1500 a month for sports, we just couldnt justify it, so have At the races and thats it, even that is over 100 quid a month! But we are in the heart of racing country!

My home Sky is 73 quid for TV (multi room, no sports or films), Fibre BB and phone with unlimited international calls.

Virgin as well- paying over £90 per month with no sports or movies, just BB and phone.

Trimmed the package and its now £38 per month no sports or movies, still got phone and 50MB BB and all the channels we previously watched- no brainer

We got the Sky lot (and our horrid Sky bill reflects that) - but every 6months or so my wife goes to them and says we are going to leave Sky as it is too expensive. Thing is we would leave - but they usually manage to find a way to cut the cost for a period. And so that's OK - and then we go back to them again.

Just checked - ooooh - paying £106/month

Which pub is that?

My Virgin bill is £133 for all you use broadband, home phone and TV (with extra box) Much cheaper than I was paying for Sky even after coming off the year deal as a welcome package

We were similar but moved to Sky. Now get everything (sport, movies, HD, phone, broadband, 2 HD boxes) for £80 a month with Sky. Well worth making the call to Virgin asking them to watch it or threaten to walk
