Anyone know of places to get the crown of the driver repaired? Preferably in the midlands. Hit a massive sky drive on our 9th and with the greens just being hallow tined left about a 1cm square scuff through the paint! So gutted. Had a look on eBay for the repair kits but couldn't find any.

Anyone have any ideas?

Sand it down with wire wool build up paint with brush & primer and sand down smooth and just spray it gloss / Matt it's not that hard.
Masking tape on face and spray from back to face.
Halfords car paint will do
must be something on YouTube?

a while back one of the moderators - Gareth (changed name on forum to 'one planer' ? or something like that) - did a pretty detailed thread with pics over the progress of how he went about repairing some 'skies' on a driver (think it was a driver)

if you did a search maybes you could find that thread if you wanted to take a go at trying to fix it seem to remember that it went into a pretty detailed account of 'how'

Before doing anything with wire wool or paint, I'd try T-Cut followed by a really traditional car wax (the thickest carnauba wax compound you can find) .

You'd be amazed what that will smooth out.

Why would you be using a driver on the putting green? Must have very large greens at your course:confused:
