A grand total of 16 players on the course.... And they still can't manage to show every shot!

Absolutely hopeless coverage. Adverts ruin golf coverage. BBC please.

After 8 hours without play, and more tahn enough adverts all day long, you woudl have thought that Sky might have worked out that their subscirbers wanted tow atch some golf - not come back from an advert and see 3 balls on the green already

Appalling editing

Agree 100% with the OP. Really poor shot by shot coverage for such a small field.

Totally agree. Have been moaning all day that they can't show all the shots, when there are only four matches on the course.

Having to watch recorded version so i can fast forward through the adverts.

Thought they have done a decent job to fill the gaps and get some up to the minute quotes and updates. I'm guessing they have had some issues with their gear fromt he weather and maybe haven't got as many cameras out as they would do normally. I'd rather see the Sky coverage in any format than the BBC version.

Agree that it is better coverage than the BBC version, but all they seem to be showing are the good shots. If the cameras can show one player hitting into a green they can show all of them. Not as if they are playing that fast ! Starting to get like American coverage with certain players hogging the screen whether they hit a good shot or not.

And another rant, why have they got Paul Lawrie in the commentary box ? Get Radar back as well from 3D or wherever he's gone.

Tis a joke that they put their best man on 3D for all of what 20k folk to heer him while we have to listen to that *** Lawrie's crap....we havn't even had on course from Boxy never mind Clark!

Compared to previously, there appears to be very sparse reporting of what distances have been hit/ how far to go etc

A lot of shots not shown or quite a while after the event, although I'd say the worst of this was probably at the beginning of the day where they showed extended coverage of all players at the first hole.

Paul Lawrie is hardly the most inspiring of pundits either!

Boxall was left out on the course through the rain delay. Think he may have gone down with trench foot. Either that or he can't swim

3D is now available in folks homes where they have a compatible tv. I think todays was the first ever broadcast for the channel apart from the odd event they have done in pubs/clubs.

I thought they done well to fill the day considering how little golf was played and how long they were on air.
