Sorry guys for bringing up this again. Can't seem to find the answers on previous threads and didn't fancy searching all night!!

I have recently won a Sky Caddie SGX and am trying to decide whether to sell it or use it.

Can any users or ex users give me some info on:

Membership fee - What do you get for it and is the device any good without it. Is it worth it?

Stat tracking - I have read on the website that you can use the Sky Caddie and ClubSG software for stat tracking, any experiences of this and can you sync up the device for other stat tracking software?
Is it easy to set up and use for this?

Accuracy - Never have been too sure of the accuracy of these devices in the past.

And any general info about the devices and your experience with them.

Without the subs it's a good as worthless.

As accurate as it gets.
Useless (virtually) without the subs - £30 gets you unlimited downloads. You'll get flybys as well on the SGX.
Not used the SGX but I've had a 2.5 for a couple of years and until I got my laser I wouldn't play without it.

They're absolutly useless, I'll take it off your hands for a tenner.

Best bit of kit going and its 100% legal. I fiddled about with a friends laser for a few rounds and find the skycaddie much more reliable and easier to use, its also better for distance control on blind shots, holes, it gives you an indication of the layout of the hole plus the hazards.

I've also got the basic 2.5 number and wouldn't do without it!
