sit, Sit, SIT!

Always talk to mine. I blame Trevino. I grew up watching him on TV and he was a real talker and his balls seemed to obey. Mine don't listen or do as I ask

Loved the one with his caddie Willie Aitchinson:

Trevino; "Be up, be up.."
Willie; "Get down, get down.."
Trevino; "Leave it alone Willie, leave it alone…"

All the time. They do listen from time to time.
One time I hit a nine iron into the green on out 8th hole. They guy I'm playing with starts to call "Go go go" at the exact same time I'm calling for the ball to get down.
It's great when someone else knows your hit, power and ball flight better than you do. Strangely enough I was right and the ball sat down about 8 foot left of the pin and he looked at me as if I was mad.
Still talk to the ball and myself a lot on the course.

Quite happy to talk to mine.... beats talking with your oppo :-). Last week my ball was like the best behaved dog in the world, this week, it was a little more playful.......I do agree with the above, about talking to it putts your mind in a good place.
