When I was writing that about the ice cream I was remembering when I was a kid having an ice cream in Cornwall somewhere with clotted cream, and the cream had gone crunchy it was gorgeous. Probably as good an ice cream as I have had in Italy.

I'm proud to be English, happy to fly the flag ( flag of St George ) and if people take it the wrong way, then that's there problem.

When England are playing any sport I will always want them to win, as to Scotland, Wales or Ireland, don't care if they win or lose, as with any other country.

Is absolutely my view too!
I even get wound up when filling in an online form and I don't have the option of putting my nationality as English!
Oh, I'm also sometimes accused of being racist too ....................... absolutely laughable.
I'm English and proud of it.

Think it's sad that we can't celebrate St Georges day properly without fear of upsetting another persons ethnicity. The others in the Union seem perfectly capable of doing so without issue or recrminiation
