Should I Change My Putter???

I picked up a Rife 2 bar putter today and it felt magic. Really good weight and balance. I didnt buy it but I instantly liked it and thought, you could be a future bride of mine!!!!!!!

Its the indian not the arrow that kills you.

It aint the putters fault, you have putted well with it before so NO REASON why you cant again.
Its all in your head, work on a new routine of lining up or change your timing, usually when confidence is low, players tend to stay over the ball longer letting those negative thoughts manifest themselves more.
I would suggest picking a line, look once and stroke it on the line.
If you do all these things correctly then dont get down if it does not go in because you have done all the right things within your control to hole the putt, the more you do the right things, the more the putts will start to drop and confidence returns.
DONT BLAME THE PUTTER!!!!!!!!!!

Feck me!!!!!

Thats far too sensible, you must be an accountant or something!

Its better fun blaming the tools then spending the next week or two trying 49 different styles and models of putters. Then after that buying a new baby, having the usual honeymoon period before repeating the process again in 3 months time!

That my friend is what golf obsession is all about, your missing out!

Yeah when I was playing in British Amatuers trying to get to Augusta I should have been looking for a honeymoon period with my putter to help me get there.

JEEZZZZ thats where i went wrong, anyone got a time machine.

Jon

Stick with it for the moment and save your sex life

You have good tchnique and a superb putter that suits your style. Confidence is at a low ebb possibly because at this time of the year the roll and speed of puts is fairly unpredictable. As the greens come back, so should your putting confidence.

When you can get out for some practice putting, how about trying that old trick of lining up the putt and then look at the hole while taking the stroke. Guaranteed (almost) to improve feel and hopefully confidence.
