Sorry, this a semi jokey posting

I booked a lesson for Tuesday to move on with my swing and then saw a consultant today and booked to have a hip replacement (2nd in 2 years) early in December. I wonder if my swing will change again in the new year, after the op, and whether I will be safe walking past a scrap yard??

scrap yard or knackers yard Chris?

still have the lesson and enjoy the swing until the op, if its not working too well afterwards book a lesson in the new year for a new swing, simples :)

Not sure how much mileage there is in having a lesson if you are not going to be able to practice the changes and indeed won't be able to play for a while. I'd personally had the op, recover fully and then book 2-3 refresher lessons before going back onto the course

Well I didn't really want to cancel the lesson and still have several winter league matches to play before I have an enforced stop so I had my lesson this evening. We worked on a better plane on the backswing, being shorter and flatter with an early hip turn on the downswing and...... lo and behold .... strike after strike with draw. I've never done that before and what a joy it was!

Off to the course tomorrow ... that could be a voyage of discovery!

It was avoyage of discovery .... but eventually I found most of the balls! Ah well back to the range for practice!
