Shorter and lighter for 2012 . . . .

Just back from the range and had a quick browse in the AG thats attached when i was done. Didn't have time to hit any of them but did look at the new Cobra AMP, Ping I20 and TM range.

I was impressed with the head shape of the RBZ but the shaft felt too light and the grip was pretty poor. I20 was the business, its sat great and the TFC stock shaft felt great to the waggle. However, to my surprise the Cobra AMP was definitely up there with the i20. I thought i would be sold on the i20, and nothing would come close, but the AMP looked great at address and the colours were not as in your face as i thought they would be. The head felt heavier than the other 2 which i think complimented the lighter shaft.

Going to have to go and have a hit with the i20 and AMP and maybe do some damage with the credit card

The one thing that all 3 had in common was that the shafts seemed shorter than previous models, a good thing imo. Looks like shorter, lighter shafts are the fashion for 2012 . (unless you get a non stock shaft fitted of course).

The Driver headcover took my corneas off when I saw it at wentworth it was that bright.

Junior -- The Pro at my Club told me that when Acushnet owned Cobra, every year, that years model Driver would be his best selling driver in the shop.

This coming season ......... HE HAS DROPPED COBRA , reckons they hav lost the Plot, and need to prove an awful Lot this year, before he Stocks again

That should speak Volumes , to me anyway

A mate has just bought these, he raves about them. They look great in my eyes too..

I put possibly the worst chopper swing on it and it was bullet straight, the shorter shaft gives good confidence too!
