Shoe Help!!

Hey.... I know me again lol!!

Anyway, I'm still trying to decide on what pair of shoes to get, I bought a cheap pair of Greenjoys and although they offer a nice comfy fit.... OMG! they get warm, my feet never sweat even in my work boots but I can see these GreenJoys been a problem, especially in the summer months. So I think I would be best shopping for something new before Mrs Pepper disowns me due to smelly feet lol!!

I dont really have a budget limit and I'm willing to put good money into my shoes if they are going to last, feel comfy during play and not over heat in the warmer summer weather. What would you guys recommend when it comes to a good quality shoe?

P.S. I'm only in my mid-20's so can get away with newer styles of shoes and don't need to stick to a more "classic" look. Oh and White is my preferred colour.

I've only used one make - Footjoy Contours.

I'm very particular with my feet and lower legs having suffered terrible shin splints from military days many years ago. Took me ages to find reliable running shoes going through a dozen different makes and styles before finding a particular shoe which helped. The Contours were the first golf shoes I tried and I have to say they are an absolute delight to wear. So I now have two (pairs) in different colours.

i'll stick to my plus fours and gaiters then, as someone who saw england win the world cup for the first time, but its hard work still having to use the hickory shafts, the're not very forgiving

If you have the money my advice would be either FJ dryjoys or Icons. Both are realy good shoes. The Icons in particular are mega comfy straight from the box. Of course you could always design your own on the myjoy site but be warned it can be addictive

I've just bought a pair of white (with black) Callaway Chev LP shoes for summer, far more comfortable than FootjoyjGreenjoy'sy's too.

I just bought a pair of Adidas golflite 3.0 from Direct Golf at £40. Had two outings so far, very comfortable.
