Shirtsleeves again today!

Yes - halfway round this morning I was able to play in shirtsleeves just like the last 3 - 4 weeks. As I am having an enforced rest after next Sunday I wonder whether it will last till then? This time last year I think it was snowing.

One of the people I play with has played at least one round of golf in shorts in every month this year. Just needs a warmish day in December and he has the full year.

It was absolutely baltic on the East Coast 40mph winds, full Galv suit on the day for Winter league.

Heavy shower at 6.00am so decided to give the roll up a miss, have a lie in and hit the range. Good choice. Hit some good shots and things on a slight upward trend. Even managed to get some chipping and putting it at Ascot this afternoon but it was bloody cold and the wind was biting. oo:

It was grey and overcast when we started out at about 8.15 but by 11'ish the sun broke through and off came the jumper.

They most certainly did, as our Captain lines everyone up on the 1st tee and does a thorough kit inspection, just before he pulls rank and jumps in a head of everyone!

Polo and a light weight jumper, jacket came out for 10 mins then went bag in the bag, a little overcast but a dry and fairly warm day......long may it continue
