Have just watched this one from 1995 in St Andrews with Seve playing Azinger, you get the usual cheesy Yank commentary but just watching Seve hit a 9 iron out of a fairway bunker from 137 yards to 15 feet just showed the genius of the man.
Hope he appears at the Open this year ,even to catch a glimpse of the man would make my golfing year, here's hoping.

LOL, then he two putted for par whilst Zinger rolled in a 25 foot birdie!

This was the meeting where Seve called the Virgin Mary a cow... or something like that...

Yup, GENIUS!

I watched it,the man played without fear, just wish he was playing in his heyday now
..and lost by two shots. :D

Seve was well past his best by 1995. By then his driving had gone to hell. As a young player he was long but crooked. By 1995 he was short but crooked. His short game was still pretty good. Ask Tom Lehman who played him in Ryder Cup singles that year. Seve didn't hit a fairway on the front 9 but was still only 1 down. If he still had been able to drive ....
