Travelling back yesterday and my friend was able to share his ETA with his wife. I believe she could track the progress, route etc if she wanted to. This was a nice touch. I believe he did it via Apple carplay.
I've had a look and you can certainly do it with Google maps, that is what I use, but I can't seem to get that to work when I connect to the car via Android Auto. I've googled it and it says that I simply tap the ETA time and then a drop down screen should appear. It doesn't. Does anyone use this facility? Is there something I need to unlock? How do I get the Share option to appear?
