How easy is it to pull a shaft from an old driver and put into a new driver ?

Are shafts still ok after a few years.

If its graphite than I'd say don't do it unless you have a shaft extractor.

I was going to get my local Pro shop to do it but just wondered how hard it was as my son could do with a different shaft in his driver and its cheaper to buy a secondhand driver with the shaft he needs than to buy the shaft new.

In that case its as easy as pie for your local pro to do.

I've done likewise in the past to get a proper diamana shaft. It was cheaper to buy a 2nd hand driver than the shaft.
