Shadows

How do you deal with them..
On the rare occasion this morning that I actually had sammy toasting the back of my follically challenged noggin i had a hard time concentrating on hitting the ball and instead spent the odd moment watching my shadow while i was swing....

Anyone ever have this problem..
How do you overcome it?

i always struggle with that, i end up watching my shadow and usually duff it

Had to putt from no more than 2 feet this morning through my shadow and I knew before I hit it I'd miss. Pulled it straight left. Couldn't get the thought of putting through my shadow out of my head and because I couldn't see the hole clearly it just put bad vibes into my head. Poor I know but I'm just an idiot

Don't get that at all. I've never been bothered by a shadow at all. Either I'm very focussed or utterly oblivious.

The only time shadows bother me is if I have to putt through them, especially a long putt through dappled shadows from a tree. Then I find it hard to judge the slopes or the distance.

Fortunately I've had a shadow all my life, never go anywhere without it, so I'm used to it and well.............it's become part of me.
Try it, you'll soon find yourself ignoring it.


Top tip........shadows Only like the sun, play on non sunny days and your shadow will happily stay at home!

Haven't seen a shadow for days mate. The sun's been notably absent round these parts for a while!
