I would say nothing if you're happy with your game. Can you ID a part of your game that would be improved with a different club?

If you send me details of your shafts, loft angles, lie angles, together with pictures of your stance, alignment and grip, and a video detailing your spine angle, shoulder turn, start and finish positions, then .........I still won't be able to help you. :D
Seriously, don't take too much advice from the nutters on here (especially me), go and see your local professional for advice.

I can't see there is much wrong after you did so well this summer. If I'm being brutally honest Connor you are buying new gear for the sake of it. If you are struggling with a part of your game its probably a technical issue rather than an equipment thing. You are clearly playing well to have won so many trophy's and come down so far. Why not get a lesson on woods (fairway or driving depending on where the problem is). You can always ask the pro what he thinks about the club you are using and go from there. Personally I'd keep my money, certainly until around Easter next year when everyone will have released (or at least announced) their 2010 range and so you're get the widest choice of new gear

Thanks homer ill ask about a lesson tomorrow :)

Impressive line up young sir. You are right to brag about it. :)

What is noticeable though is that woods and hybrid are 3 different manufacturers with different playing characteristics and that you have a Callaway wedge between two Nike's. :D

However, it's not so much WHAT you have got but HOW use use them. From what I have read of your recent golfing exploits, they would seem to suit you well.

Care to expand on why having different makes of clubs in the same set causes problems Pants?? :D

If you read my post again Robo you will see that nowhere did I say it was a problem. I did make the comment that they seemed to suit Mono well.

I must admit that I thought that the "know it all's" who advocate matching woods with matching shafts, ditto with irons, ditto with wedges, custom fitting, etc might have had a point.

The fact that Mono and (looking at your line up and handicap) you do well by using the clubs that you feel suit you best for each type of shot rather than matching sets would indicate that they may not be correct. :)

It's convenient to match your clubs, woods especially, and will enable the buyer to pick up deals, they will also look nice with matching headcovers in the bag!! :D

Apart from that I don't see any merit in religiously matching everything in the bag (apart from those with OCDs )

Most premium brand clubs perform similarly as long as you get the correct specs, so the biggest thing for me is how it looks at address and if that inspires confidence. That is a personal choice.

I'd imagine that if you went to the "nth" degree with custom fit shafts, heads, grips etc then you could possibly end up with 14 different makes of clubs in the bag.
