Any fellow high handi-cappers in the above areas? Started playing last year and am looking to join a club and get a handicap, need to learn to play with other players

Probably the best way in is to join a pay and play course that has a members section where you can play in their comps and get a h/cap.
I started off at High Elms just outside Bromley (great course by the way) but I think that Addington Court in Croydon has a similar set up. There must be others around.

Golfball, as leftie said I'm currently at addington court. £60 per year gets your around 32 comps per year, congu handicap to take to any other course. It's s nice little members section within a pay and play course that has a range of hc's from 6 to 30's so you won't be out of place. Sunday morning slot booked every week for 9:00 - 9:30 so you can just rock up and play without having to book. If you want any more details let me know
