Scotty Putters ????

Hi, Just wondered if those of you using a Scotty have found them as good as their reputation might suggest ?

Currently use an Odyssey 2 Ball Lined, and before that a Rossie, which my son now uses, but I'm quite taken by the Circa 62 No 7

Any thoughts from anyone ?

I moved from a scotty to a Oddy 2 ball white hot, the scottys are harder to line up, to be honest I think its like prada sunglasses, they do the same job as everything else but when folk hear about a premium brand, they throw their money at that regardless of function.
Saying that, I still have my scotty newport 2 platinumm pro, its relegated to the office for practice putting to keep the white hot nice and minty fresh on the course.

I have a Scotty Circa 62 no2 and love it. I have never seen the need for alignment aids.

If you want one for cheap - do a bit of research into fake ones so you know what to avoid, and hit ebay. Got mine new for £70.

Mono, you have your critics on here, and I have been amongst them at times, silently perhaps, but if you're making a few quid buying & selling, fair play to you, thats the beauty of Fleabay eh ?

Best thing since sliced bread got one a few weeks a go and i get a great roll of it ,seem to putt a lot better with it , have the newport version. got a good deal from my pro as well so cant complain

I concur Tommo, I have to say this is totally wrong. We have a 16 year old selling everything under the sun & who has already broken the EBay buying & selling rules yet continues to produce kit for everyone at a price after a recent ban.

More to the question, would you willingly buy from a 16 year old on EBay? I doubt very much anyone would.
