I’ve been watching bits of it here and there all week, watched the last couple of hours today, and it’s been very enjoyable throughout. Great looking course, some great golf, different conditions every day. Hats off.
Shame for Bob but the fact it came down to 2 incredible approach shots on the 18th is testament to both of them.

I’ve pretty much stopped watching televised golf but the last 4 days have sucked me back in…the triple challenges of such a tough course, great field and difficult conditions produced a special tournament and all capped by such an exciting and dramatic finish. Well Rory and commiserations to Bob.

Phenomenal round from McIntyre. Seemed like the right result in the end - huge break for McIntyre down the last.
showed an interesting stat at one point - average % win for 54 hole leader is 30 something %. Over 50 for Rory. Choker he isn’t - like everyone else he just doesn’t win all the time. Except tiger, whose % was 90+.

Thought Bob had done it but you have to hand it to Rory. I'm sure Bob would have bit your hand off if you offered him 2nd place at the start of the round. I had a couple of quid on him at 90/1.
