Its on starting this Friday, anyone going?

I was there a few years ago and quite underwhelmed so might go this year and see if it's improved. I see theres 3 course fees thrown in for your £15, is there an alternate if you dont want the greenfees?

I might head along if I can get the afternoon off on friday, as i have my neice this weekend.

I've found that it's a good exhibition to spend a few hours at but there's no way I could stay all day.

It's worth pre-ordering if only to get the vouchers for the 3 free rounds of golf and the free season pass to the Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles.

The wife and I are going on Friday; your freebies are preselected when you order your tickets online. I thought this would be for them to gauge the interest in each of the courses in the free round offer, with the potential to possibly change course choices; our tickets though have a 'free golf batch number which identifies the courses we pre-selected.

Uptake % for each of the free round options is here:

I went last year, thought it was pretty crap if I'm honest, few decent stands but the majority weren't up to much, won't be going back this year.

The one drawback with the vouchers is getting a course that lets you play during daylight, during a month with an average temperature above 9°C ;)

Last year they sent a voucher that you had to use to pick up your tickets at the event. I think they sent them out in previous years. All I ever used was the season pass to the Johnny Walker at Gleneagles :)

nah
went two years ago
am still inundated with spammy emails
i did get my 3 wood cheaper tho
but on the whole - not worth the money
the 3 free rounds at soggy golf courses is just a joke IMHO
