Ryo Ishikawa - Missing the WGC-CA Championship

I'll bet you're right.

He's right not to go though if he feels he should go to his school graduation (p1ss up). I'm sure he'll have plenty more opportunities.

I'm hoping Villegas can carry on last weeks good form.

Keep hearing about how good this kid is but am not convinced, the times i've seen him on tv he's been poor,ok he's won in Japan but the PGA Tour is a different ball game, would like to be proved wrong as the game needs young guys like him to come thru.

Its not so much that he hasn't yet set the world alight though is it, its that he is so young, has won in Japan and is playing on the tour. That's some feat for someone at that age.

Could turn out to be the next gordon sherry though i guess!!

Got to remember that he's still only 18. I know Rory Mac has started strong, but not everyone can match that. To be where he is already certainly takes some talent and ability though. He's massive business in Japan, already the richest sportsman over there..... Last year he was focused on bombing the drive and going for everything hell for leather, he was accused of lacking any course management. He's changed his focus this year to bring teh course management into his game. I've seen him a number of times on Japanese TV, and have high hopes for him.

I'm sure unintentional, but like to point out that the use of the word "Jap" is derogatory and considered racist these days. I certainly wouldn't refer to my wife or other Japanese friends as Jap's.
