Looking at those names, I don't think it would be an appreciably weaker team than the current European one.

No-one has mentioned Poults yet! Ian Poulter, Justin Rose, Paul Casey, Paddy Harrington, Oliver Wilson. It would be close but we may even lose.

Ah - forgot Rory McIlroy. Would have him instead of Casey maybe. Oh and what about Lee Westwood? Or Graham McDowell? And Luke Donald! Hell, we don't need the Italians and Spaniards
