Ryder Cup betting...

Just looked on william hill and Europe are even money for next years Ryder cup.

Surely a great bet?? I can on see the price shortening as it gets closer?

I think they will lengthen slightly, USA will prob start as favourites IMO.

Just looked at the world rankings, USA and Europe 8 each in the top twenty with the cream all being from Europe. Know it's a long way off but and they've have got the home advantage. Darth, i think your prob right though, loads of yank money will be lumped on nearer the event and may get a better price.

Not sure about that, it's in the US and I suspect some of the yanks will have good years next year. I wouldn't be parting with my hard earned just yet

I think its going to be a close affair and I would say the Yanks will be favourites even though on paper we should have the stronger team. With home advantage and very partisan support it will be tough for our guys. I might have a few bob on the US so if we do get turned over, I will not be completely hacked off.
