I think you are confusing Souness with someone else Doon, his record in Scotland was decent with 3 titles and 4 league cups but in England and Turkey all he has is cup wins nothing more and certainly no UEFA trophy.

Great player but not a great manager, decent manager though.

Go on Val, tell Doon he needed lots of ENGLISH players to do it as well.

We were in Ireland when the world cup was on so watched a fair bit of it. Didn't know who any of them were, other than Brady and it took a while to recognise him - the years have not been kind. It was comedy gold at times one of the blokes just slated everyone... "it was a rubbish goal, just trundled over the line, he waltzed round four defenders but couldn't put a decent strike on it".... and such like! Nothing could please him!
