Rude or Clutching at Straws?

I've walked off the course a couple of times in the past but would never do so if I were playing in a twoball no matter how badly I was playing or how ill I felt unless it was an
absolute emergency (like the bar was just about to run out of 1664)
;)

If you are playing in a 3 or 4 ball amd your playing partners are all ok with it, I've got no problem with people walking in (I've done it myself a few times).

But...

In a two ball and especially in one during a County Championship walking in should not be allowed. Full Stop.

I think what he did was disgraceful behavior. If he had a family emegency then ok you cant do anything about it, but to walk off like a spoilt child because he wasnt playing well is a very selfish act. I have felt like walking off before but never have, I shot 54 going out in yesterdays medal, I just wanted to hit the bar, but I soldiered on and shot 39 coming home, it was like i could actually play golf again!!
Did you report him?
Is there anything they can actually do though if you do report him?
Hopefully you never have to play with him again.
