I’m playing RSG on Friday, travelling down the night before, as I’ll be in the area a few hours before my PP, does anyone know of any driving ranges in the area?

Manston is the best dedicated range in that area

Very good grass area to practice off which is usually relatively quiet, or if not it’s full of serious golfers so not noisy and distracting

Most places around here are soaked atm. Obviously the links courses will be fine, but your best bet for a range will be one with decent mats. As has been mentioned, Manston is decent but they have closed off the grass tees. Stonelees is ok, I find it quieter than Manston since they got toptracer installed.

If you got to Manston they’ve got some cracking deals on under armour gear atm.

Manston.

You'll be off mats, I understand, as they are saving/getting fairways ready for next year
Not off mats until November, hence why I am driving to Liverpool tonight to see a client tomorrow, then from Liverpool to RSG tomorrow - need to use my voucher in 2019, and didn’t want to play it off mats.

Thanks for the recommendation, will check it out.
