I played in the junior open, at this fantastic venue. It was a lovely sunny day, knowing that the likes of Rory McIlroy and Justin Rose had walked the fairways and putted on the greens recently, I was very nervous.
2 Weeks on from the Scottish Open, this course was in stunning condition, providing a very tough challenge. The greens were so good, very fast, in immaculate condition.
The views from the course were stunning, especially from the 4th hole, which runs parallel to the North Sea.
I didn't bring my best game, having to hit a provisional on the first tee, but I found my first ball, and made a 6 from in the deep rough!
It was one of, if not the most enjoyable golfing experience I have ever experienced!
