You would think they would wait til Arsenal have spanked them out of the carling cup. This way a new manager will come in, and his first games will be a kicking.

He was given more than enough time and money, but just did'nt cut it. At least we will go back to being called Ipswich Town, not Roy Keane's Ipswich.
As for the new man, not Hodgson, please, not that he would drop down a league anyway.
Jewel seems to be favourite and i'd be quite happy with that. He certainly knows how to get a club promoted.

I don't think they will be in any hurry to announce the new man. With Chelsea and Arsenal coming up they would'nt want the new incumbent to start off with 2 drubbings.

I imagine he is on a very short fuse and expects his players to play like he did. Must admit there are not many footballers i disliked as much as Roy Keane. Absolute thug on the pitch, and how he got away so lightly with the long planned assault on the Man City player i never know. Can't remember his name, but that's probably because he didn't play competitively again.

Perhaps Mick McCarthy will offer him a job at Wolves. ;) Good riddance in my opinion.

Can't stand the guy.
I remember when he thought he was bigger than his country by refusing to play for the manager of his country's team.

Liked his "prawn sandwich" comment though. Spot on observation IMO. ;)
