Spent my formative golfing years hacking it round Routenburn. Not the greatest course in the world but had some interesting holes including a completely blind par 3 over a big mound.
Best known as the home course of Bob Torrance, the famous teacher and father of Sam.

10 years since I played here, nice course but an uphill climb out to the turn and downhill back.

The views from Routenburn are stunning, as are the views from the other courses in the area Largs and West Kilbride.
