Well it is a nice little 9 hole course set in mature park land stretching 5250 over 18 holes. There are some very interesting holes and none two the same on this track, the course is generally in good condition for a municipal and in my view the best Municipal in Leeds. Par is 70 and SSS 65 so a tough one for Cat 1 players but overall a great course for beginners and experienced players alike.

Originally opened in 1922 with some McKenzie style greens, beautiful views and visitors are always made most welcome at Roundhay Golf Club with our renowned Yorkshire hospitality.

Rounds for as little as £10 with a pint and sandwich midweek and around £15 for 18 holes on weekends.

If you are about pop into the clubhouse for a pint and a chat. Find all our details on the below link.

and yes it is my home club lol

Looks like a nice little course and club Parmo. I see from another post you've helped with the web site. Once spring really gets going, how about trying to get some nice pics of the course on a sunny day when it looks its best ? Not having a pop, just thinking that it'd look a lot more enticing in full bloom ;)

hahaha yeah.. yeah I had to get the pics from the hon sec as the weather has been poor and its not been the best recently in terms of the flag been up!!

Taking camera out with me tomorrow to shoot any nice pics, last weekend missed out on a fallen tree covering most of the 8th Green (I think its on the site), still birdied

I'll be up in Edinburgh in April, doing some touristy things with the with. I booked for the royal wedding on the theory that most tourists will bugger off down south whilst we go north!! Staying at Parliment House Hotel, good price and pretty central.
