At the start of returning to golf we had a round robin matchplay between10 of us all playing each other with money involved. Rules full handicap. Most matches have been played but one couple played 90% difference rather than full and this will affect the end result for the winner.

What should happen to the match that was played with 90% difference please

Result of match as played stands.

If they agreed the shots given / taken before play and it was less than the full difference then I think the result should stand.

Rule 3.2c applies to both players.
Declared Handicap Too Low. There is no penalty and the player must play off the declared lower handicap.

Result stands.

As others have said, result stands as played.

And in reality, would it have made any difference to the result of the match anyway? In all likelihood, the higher h/c would only lose one stroke by playing off 90% difference instead 100%. Would that one stroke have changed the result?
