2nd round winter knockout alongside Mr Reliable - Hawkeye. Due off at 8.30 and 50/50 if it'll be temps. Bet the practice ground will be bloody Baltic when I get on it to warm up. Still, hit some balls, find the groove and try and give poor old Hawkeye a modicum of support on some holes at least

tried to cancel last night, no success. Get to the club at 8.15 via foggy iced lanes, faff about until 9.30 where finally the oppo accept its not suitable conditions to play a match in, one of them not happy and match rearranged. I come home and the other 3 head out anyway to have a hit

Just dont get people playing when you cant hit a shot into a green, chip or putt properly, amazed at how many were still heading out to play

It was -3 this morning and is still frosty outside. I cancelled my weekend game due to having to take my daughter to Cardiff for a university interview, however when we got up my wife advised that her and my other daughter were also going shopping for a prom dress and that I could stay at home.

T-time booked for 13-46 however my regular playing partner made alternative arangements so providing the fog doesn't come down I'll be out trying to get 9 holes in and sort out a few little nigles that need addressing.

The good thing is if there's nobody behind me I can play 2 balls while I'm trying to work things out.
