McDowell took 74 last year, that would be fine for Rory too, Yang would need 66 and Westwood would need to go 65 again to catch him at that, highly unlikley.
Eight shots is a lot on a tough course.

Rory's just birdied 1 for a 9 shot lead!

Currently a 9 shot lead and nearly a third of the round gone. Yang or Westwood need to get to 10 under to have any chance and it would need a nuclear meltdown to stop McIlroy winning even then

I really don't think we'll be seeing a repeat of Augusta. Well, I know I won't be seeing it, I'll be asleep - early start tomorrow...
