Tiger and wory should never be mentioned together in the same sentence.
Unless the preceding sentence was "which golfers have completed the career grand slam?" I guess.Tiger and wory should never be mentioned together in the same sentence.
Or Tiger has won more Majors than Rory......Unless the preceding sentence was "which golfers have completed the career grand slam?" I guess.
Seems like the guy just asked the same question to everyoneBit spiky in the press conference when asked if he forced to trade a part of his game for someone else who and what would he choose![]()
Yep. Standard stroppiness from him. Yet others don't see it.Bit spiky in the press conference when asked if he forced to trade a part of his game for someone else who and what would he choose![]()
Why does he have too ?Yep. Standard stroppiness from him. Yet others don't see it.I mean he could've just said I'll have prime Tiger's putting please and laughed it off, but no.
Or some people are looking for something that clearly isn’t there.Yep. Standard stroppiness from him. Yet others don't see it.I mean he could've just said I'll have prime Tiger's putting please and laughed it off, but no.
Every player has to deal with the media and silly questions, 99% of them are able to laugh it off, or at least say something funny and sarcastic back to them, or anything. Rory just doesn't have any personal skills whatsoever. Nothing to do with his golf of course, but people on here can't understand why I don't like him for some reason, when he keeps showing it constantly.
He just has no character or wit about him whatsoever. The interviewers have a job to do but they must dread interviewing him as it's like getting blood from a stone. So you don’t like him because of what he says to childish media questions
He has his way of dealing with the silly questions and it’s the same way the likes of Faldo , Woods etc would deal with them
If he attempted some silly quote back I have no doubt you would have been critical about that
He is a golfer - he is there to play golf and he does it better than most
Should be irrelevant what he says to media
As for his personal skills - watch the videos with him and Billy

The two things don't have to me mutually exclusive. I was just explaining, again, why I don't like his personality, since there was yet another example of it. We can now all get on with our lives. He shows plenty of character outside a press conference
He is there to win a major not show “wit”
I respect you don't like him, there are many very nice people in this world, and for some reason there will be other people that just don't like them.Every player has to deal with the media and silly questions, 99% of them are able to laugh it off, or at least say something funny and sarcastic back to them, or anything. Smilingly?? He had a look of disdain on his face! You call that a smile where you're from??Hahaha, some people seriously love to make a mountain out of a mole hill. I hadn't seen the interview, so just had a look now to see what all the fuss was about. Basically, about 30 seconds of footage, where an interviewer asks him what part of whose game he'd take, and he smilingly replied he is happy with all areas of his game. The interviewer then continues to try and press him on it (clearly to try and create some headline like "Rory wishes he could putt like xxxx"), and he simply repeated that he isn't forced to pick an option in the hypothetical scenario, no point in dragging this out. And it got some laughs from the audience in the room, so not sure it was overly frosty.
I'd be interested to hear how many other of the leading pro's going into a tournament would answer such a question. Would many of them be prepared to admit they'd rather have another aspect of another players game, thus admitting a potential weakness in their own?
Was simply because he was the most outspoken against it, and also one of the best players in the world. Scheffler and Schauffele wouldn't say boo to a goose. That being said, it is a false statement to say "Rory doesn't have any personal skills whatsoever". Not when the media are desperate to have airtime and interviews with him, when millions of golf fans love to hear what he has to say about many things, and when he clearly laughs and jokes many many times, with fellow players and media people. If he didn't have any personal skills, there is no way the PGAT would have used him as their poster boy when the whole LIV saga began.
he’s definitely had more holes in one bed;jOr Tiger has won more Majors than Rory......
This could go on all day.....![]()
Do they both only play by “common sense ‘rules then?Have Bobthesock and Orikoru ever been seen in the same room at the same time before....?
Asking for a friend.....![]()
