Did you see the true hero of the common golfer to-day on tv BIG JOHN DALY ( my hero) fag in one hand pint of coke in the other striding down the fairway,putting a bit of weight on and loving it,picks a club has a look and launches it picks up his fag and coke and marches on,i would sooner play in a 4-ball with him than the boy wonder anyday.

why is that,because he is normal and does what normal people do unlike some,so he throws his dummy out and walks off the course or hits six balls into the water to prove a point BIG DEAL,i have met him twice and he is a truly genuine man and very generois to others and is willing to spend time with everyone unlike the superstar premadonnas who are surrounded by body gaurds but hey ho everyone to there own if you enjoy the clones on the tour thats ok but i enjoy the characters that have more in common with me.

I totally agree. He's not welcome in Australia after the recent episode, is running out of chances on the US tour and to be honest if he hacks off the powers that be in Europe could find himself homeless in terms of somewhere to ply his trade. I think he has wasted his talent and become no more than a golfing freak show with crowds more often than not waiting to see if he implodes

You may be right but not because he's not good enough, but because the strength and depth of opposition these days. I think one of Tigers problems is that it's not that he won't play as well as he used to, its that there are a lot of good young guys who are just as good now.
