Happy birthday.
Did you get anything nice?
Did you know you share your birthday with Steven Segal, Omar Sharif and Joseph Pulitzer? :)

You are all too kind. :)

Not much golf stuff today, just 2 nice shirts (electric blue and dark pink) and Seve's autobiography + the AA guide to GB and Ire top courses (43 to be precise?!) Royal St Davids is in, Aberdovey too, as is Walton Heath (no surprise)

My gift to myself was to reinstate the Wilson Spine to my bag and replace my 3 wood with a 1 iron. The Spine is up to it's normal loud straightness, but the 1 iron is a little wayward t.b.h. (curious beast, it's an enormous Tommy Armour full Ti club, something of an experiment by the maker at least a decade ago i.i.r.c.)

Still, good enough for a 10 over 80. :)

Off for some food and then I might be tempted to watch and see if Westwood and Poulter can keep their cool with a Tiger creeping up on them.

Cheers guys. Much appreciated.

:)

1 iron? ....must be a Birthday thing

There are more appropriate birthday gifts to give oneself!
I found it in the shed (well, the missus found it actually).
It's easy to hit, but not so easy to steer onto the fairway.

If you pull it, it only gets about 25' in the air. :(
