Because I have just seen an email from Mike Greener E.G. to someone stating they had been revised and the email was dated 16 July. There was supposed to have been an attachment but it wasn't there. I just thought it might be easier to check here first before I bother Mike.

From the 2019 version of the manual
1st January 2019 - Rules of Golf update 2019
• References to Conditions of Competition changed to Terms of Competition throughout the manual.
• References to old documents (e.g. references to Appendices of the old rules of golf amended to Committee Procedures) replaced with the new equivalents.
• Maximum Score Per Hole Format – Added into the manual – Clause 17 – Page 41
• Practice on the Course – manual amended to take account of Rule 5 allowing practice on the course after the last competition round of the day has completed. A supplementary score can be submitted under such circumstances – Clause 21 – Page 50
• Disqualified Scores – References to rule numbers changed to reflect the new rules. Also use of Alternative to Stroke and Distance local rule used in Qualifying Competition has been added. Appendix P – Page 96
• Status of a competition when the use of fairway mats is obligatory – suggested wording for local rule amended to conform to new rules of golf 2019 – Decision 1(a) - Page 104.
• Clean and Replace Ball in the General Area – Decision amended to allow a qualifying competition to be played with a local rule allowing Clean and Replace ball in the general area – Decision 1(c) – Page 104

Yep sat with that one, I think I'll check with county, I suspect, knowing the culprit, that it might have been clarifying the 2019 update as he is a bit of a know all.
