I've never tried it but I think it might. Those little suction cups look good...

Wish they banned those and stopped people using the end of a club to take the ball out of the hole

Too many people damage the side of the hole when using them

Using the sucker things are fine as long as done with care.
It’s the players needing educating not the product banning, which enables a lot of people to play who otherwise couldn’t.

They all manage to put the ball on the tee or mark the ball on the green and no doubt during winter pick and place - but they can’t take the ball out of the hole ?!

They don’t all manage to, the people you play with might do but I play with an old boy and we put the ball on the tee for him.
On the green he doesn’t mark his ball we will either mark it or he will usually putt out first.

I use a ball gripper on the end of my putter. Always remove the flag first, pick it up directly above the ball, not at an angle. One of my pp has one as well and we both follow the same procedure. No damage 👍

Both of us have bad backs and these make things easier. It's an easier motion to put your ball on a tee than taking it out of the hole. We could manage without but it's easier for us

I can't tee the ball now. I use a device made by a company called Zero Bend, which also enables me to pick up the tee afterwards. Neither can I mark the ball, I usually leave it on the green until its my turn, or if it's on someone's line, I putt out of turn or ask a fellow player to mark it for me.

I found the first days and week or two a rather odd time as of course I had no more evening ‘must sort tomorrow’ work thoughts filling my head..Sunday evenings especially. But nice. Aaaaaand reeeelaaax.👍
I suspect I may have expressed this some time back. Apologies.
After 34/35 years I was called to a meeting, with no prior indication, to be be notified of my severance terms. 58, given the full package and terms of retirement age, 65. 8 months notice!!
I bricked myself as I had no retirement thoughts or plans.
F/fwd 8mths and I received my first "retirement pay check". Stared at it with wife and said "This is almost that same as working without having to work".
Now, before I was "let go" if you'd asked was my job stressful I'd have said "Sometimes, but I love my team, the mutual respect, the pressure and the banter".
Within a month or so I realised that it was incredibly stressful but I'd learned to function at that level. Every night after dinner and kids to bed I always had something needed to be done on my PC, presentations and reports etc.
18 years later it's a distant (but meaningful) memory and I am mostly stress free and relaxed.
(I once described my life as Old Testament and New Testament.)
I you can survive financially do not fret about "How will I spend my time?"
It'll come to you 👍
