Renee Zellweger - New face

Has anyone seen what Renee Zellweger has done to herself ??

Always thought she was very pretty but i cant understand why they do this

isnt the one on the left from when she fattens up to play bridget jones? She always looks a lot different to that, she put on around 2 stone to play Jones.
 
For Bridget Jones she looks puffed up but it is still the same face. This new look is totally distorted and can be seen in other pics, not just the DM. I have yet to see anyone have plastic surgery, botox etc and look better. They all look wrong afterwards.
 
I just kind of have a problem with all this 'ooh let's take an opportunity to criticize this womans (and it is always a womans) appearance' type articles that at best are just not news and at worst is low level misogyny, trying to masquerade as news. It just reinforces the stereotype that women should be judged on their looks and not that fact she is a bafta and oscar wining actress. Hey Rennee, I know you've kind of won the top awards it is possible to get in your profession, but don't you dare appear at an event having changed a bit without expecting news papers to pour over your appearance.

And so what if she has had work done, it's her face and body so she can do what she wants with it.

I think anyone who alters the way they look will attract attention, especially a person who is a celebrity as Renee Zellweger is. Her eyes don't look the same which I think is why it is so dramatic.
 
Best quote I heard on the issue of plastic surgery was from someone in the film business. They were asked about people who had it and did it make them look younger or more attractive. They replied, "no, it just makes them look like they have had plastic surgery". Obvious but absolutely true.
 
She has said that she knows it makes her look quite different - and she is totally happy with that as she feels much better about herself. Curious though to change your face quite so much that you are almost unrecognisable from your previous self. Or is it? If I could have treatment and surgery to change my face so that I looked like, say, George Clooney - would I do that? Hmmm.

Raises questions about who you are - does your personality develop to fit what you look like? Are you the same person to others? Can you change one without the other (having to) change? hmmm again.
