Regripping Club On Backswing

Can't get out of this habit. Somedays I do, some I don't.
When I grip it proper I consistently play to single figures, If I have a day where I'm regripping I'm lucky to break 100.

Tried a training grip, never helped.

Is this just a bad habit or is there a simple fix. I presume it's my wrists which are the problem.

How about consciously not cocking your wrist on backswing - that helps you keep your mind on grip pressure ?

I have this problem with my right hand (right handed), it ruins a round. Any suggestions please.
