Rees-Mogg...

Missed that gem. How does he decide which ones to help and which ones to turn a blind eye to ?

The God of my understanding doesn't turn a blind eye to anyone and doesn't favour any one person any more than any other.

I simply have a belief and a faith in a God - in a wider sense a spiritual Higher Power - that I know works positively for me and I can see working for others. No more than that.

As the Romans did :)
:)
Though my understandng is that they wimped out - for 'political' reasons!

As for R-M, he does seem to be a classic example of the 'privileged toff', that the English (as opposed to UK) system seems to churn out, that almost inivetiably gravitate to politics/finance - in his case, both! His 'office rules' were hilarious!

I saw both his sessions with Carney as 'score draws'. R-M was purely using the S/C forum to make political points and Carney simply 'played a straight bat' and blocked all his political assetions - as it's his job to do.

Our new Scottish Viceroy is of the Rees-Mog ilk.
He is my daughters MP, and she totally under impressed with him. He told her a year ago not to worry as the Tories would never leave the single market.

He is certainly better than Mundell, but then so would be a dead cat.

What a necrofelineist comment.

Very good interview in the Guardian from the little ginger one. Probably the best I've seen for a good while - worth a read. Nice to see she recognises more than just SNP voters in Scotland. Really do like her socialist ideals but not her politics in achieving them. I do wonder how she'll fund them though...

I must say i had to google this... and guess what.. the only instance of the word acc to google is on GM forum on Page 5!! How awesome is that!!!

i did work it out.. even though i put two spaces after a fullstop, but then i use too many brackets (to convey unnecessary clarity) and sometimes i add double fullstops...
