For me it seems you agreement with a statement that most of the Worlds problems have come from mainland Europe - it’s the sort of tripe the EDL will spout and ignores all the worlds problems the the English/British have caused over the centuries

I’m not entirely sold on the successful business man tag . It’s easy to “make†money once you already “have†money, you can’t run a hedge fund with 2 bob. That said he is clearly intelligent.
I think I read a while back as successful a business man as Trump is often held up to be he would be better off if he had invested everything he inherited in a Dow tracker fund.

This is simply how I see the guy. I do not hate him for it - it's just how I see him. He may well prove me wrong - I rather hope he proves me wrong. If I choose to do so I will call out those who deceive for their own ends at the expense of others less able to defend or look after themselves.

First of all, Colossians passage refers to being persuaded to worship false gods. Similarly, Mark and Romans passages. You're applying a different interpretation to it to suit your argument.
You want to argue his politics, fine, and to be honest I agree with you on his politics. And if he proves you wrong in that respect, as you say, you hope he does.
But the path you chose was to attack his intelligence and the way he speaks. Belittling someone, anyone for that matter, in such a shallow way is low. But there again, perhaps it should only to be expected. You raised the issue of Leavers intelligence and gullibility many times.
I suggest a period of quiet reflection whilst you look at yourself and the direction of your attacks. If you still think its ok to attack someone in that way , well that would be a shame.

I hate to suggest you're trying to demonstrate your own 'intelligence' by using psuedo intellectual quotes but it's a common try-on!
I've some long term friends who were born to rich, landed gentry parents. They attended well known private schools etc. They also spoke 'posh' and if I ever needed their help I know they've be there. I 've also met many titled couples and invariably have found them very principled and they would not dream to make judgements about others in the way you have judged JRM.

First we had the guff about Churchills failing at Gallipoli when speaking about Boris. Now to defend your personal condemnation of Rees-Mog you choose to quote passages about false gods. Do these comparisons actually make sense in your mind before you post them on here or are you merely clutching at straws as it seems to come across.
For a man of faith you really come across as unbelievably judgemental of a person based purely in their upbringing and way they speak. That says more about you that it does RM or even your faith, which by the way has its own words about judging others or do you prefer hypocrisy of ignoring parts of your faith when it comes to your own judgement.

Oh and for the record I've nothing against any faith if people use it as a belief system to make themselves better people but there are to many that hide behind it to make them seem better than they actually are. Which brings down the whole thing for those that truly are trying to believe to be better
