if the score being submitted is for your handicap then you are the player and your dad is the marker

Can I also clarify the scorecard.

I've got my card that I fill in my scores and my Dad's scores, who signs the Markers signature and who signs the Players signature. Sorry if it sounds a dumb question.

The idea is you swap cards at the start of the round, you are the marker on your Dads card and mark his scores in player A and yours in the marker column, your dad does the same and at the end you check the totals and both sign both cards in the appropriate marker and player spaces.

Yes, and you can't mark your own card.

Ok, I know I can't mark my card. Well I found out couple of posts earlier.

comps without doubt but cards for initial handicap the process can vary from club to club some prefer all 3 handed in together.
