I use Golfshot and it's pretty good, although you have to pay if you want it to show more than the data to the green on your watch.

I use 18 birdies and absolutely love it.

I use hole19, but if you want to use your phone to record your score you have to pay. It’s the best out there in my opinion, I’ve tried pretty much all of them. Easy to use, loads of features.

If you want a free one that records the score on the watch, the Taylormade app’s good (just doesn’t do stableford).

Can you use it standalone on the watch? That’s what I like about Hole 19, yes you start the round on the phone but I can then use the watch gps so I don’t need my phone near me all the time.

That's one disadvantage, you do need your phone near you for an accurate gps distance.
