Going on holiday in a couple of week & haven't got a book yet to laze around the pool with. Just wondered if any one could recommend a good autobiography? Thanks

Fictional Autobiography - The Flashman Chronicles. Just finished the first book and it was excellent. Written from the viewpoint of the bully in Tom Browns school days from the time he is expelled from Rugby school for being drunk to the time he returns from India and Afghanistan as a (false) hero. Rollicking good fun

Not sure Peter Unistov is my kind of thing, cheers tho. Never really got into the Mondays, but can imagine Shaun Ryder been a entertaining read. Gazza's will take some beating for me. John Dalys is definitely worth a read.
I'm going to Turkey,1st time.

Turkey very nice. Some friends of ours are going there a week on Saturday, whereabouts you going they are staying somewhere just outside of Marmaris. I have never been personally but have been told it is well worth a visit

For a golf themed book, I really like Rick Reilly's book about caddying for a range of golfers including John Daly, Donald Trump and a leading golf gambler. A bit dated now, but very funny.

The audiobook is available from audible.co.uk and is a great listen too.

For something a bit more considered, anything by John Feinstein.

I thought the Mark James book was beyond terrible.

For some reason I've never fancied turkey for a holiday but slowly coming round to the idea.

Anyway I asked a similar question a while ago as we went skiing, one of the golf based recommendations was Sam sneads book, education of a golfer. A great read very cheap download on kindle too.

Thanks to all who recommended me this. I'm onto the amateurs next.

Cheers mate. All inclusive so

All inclusive very good. Only thing with that I find is that it makes you reluctant to venture out of the resort as you get drinks for free in the resort, we did the same in Spain once and found this the only problem. Are there kids going as this is different as it saves you a fortune in pop and snacks. Quality comment about Neville by the way:thup: I cant stand the little runt either
